If you were in an elevator with a stranger and had 1 minute or less to describe Gay Escort and Client to Best Friends for Life before the doors opened, what description would you give?

The different life experiences of two men led one to work as a prostitute and one to seek such services. Each man had a deeper need, a need for a true friend. After they met, a close friendship developed that has lasted more than 17 years.  

What’s your favorite thing about writing? What’s your least favorite thing about it?

My favorite thing was that writing a true story allowed me to relive some important life experiences. My least favorite thing was trying to recall details of past events.  

Where did you write Gay Escort and Client to Best Friends for Life?

I wrote this at home in California and in England.

If you had to write a blurb for the last book you read, what would it say?

Tina Turner: My Love Story is the true story of the greatest entertainer of our time. She overcame a poor background and years with an abusive husband to demonstrate a love for the audience and to be loved by her audience, showing a talent and energy that has no equal.

If you had to only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Les Misérables
