Interview with Angelica DeVine, Author of The Billionaire’s One-Night Rendezvous

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Billionaire’s One-Night Rendezvous?

When I decided the location of this story was going to take place in Cape Canaveral, Florida, I knew It had to have a story that was related to “NASA,” stars, and the universe. Astrology is something I have always been drawn to and yes, I own a telescope!

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of The Billionaire’s One-Night Rendezvous, what would they be?

There are ENDLESS songs that would relate to this book, not necessarily just to each individual character. Here are just a few that come to mind. For Lizzy, ”The Power Of Love” by Celine Dion. For Kevin “The Final Countdown” by Europe. The story in general, “Love Conquers All” by Deep Purple, “Fly Me To The Moon” by Frank Sinatra, “All Of The Stars” by Ed Sheeran, “Drops of Jupiter” by Train, “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, “Counting Stars” by One Republic. I could go on and on!

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

To be honest, I don’t read as much as one might think. I’m focused on creating my own stories at the moment. However, I am a hopeless romantic so I guess that’s why I write in the Romance genre (blush). A little Fantasy is also a good thing!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

Shall I say “A rendezvous at the museum.”

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

(YOLO) You only live once. So have fun while you are here. Life is way too short.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

Remember ME! (giggle) Seriously, just love and respect one another. LOVE Conquers All.
