Interview with Dawn Love, Author of Logan’s Flame

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Logan’s Flame?

At one time in my life I loved someone the way Logan loves Sera. I wanted to show the unselfish love he has for her, the bond between lifelong friends, and the ultimate culmination of Logan’s dreams.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Logan’s Flame, what would they be?

Loving You Against My Will by Gary Allan.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

I love to read Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense, but Fantasy and Paranormal rank right up there. I definitely lean more toward Contemporary and Suspense in my writing.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

Den of Vipers, Promises & Pomegranates, Ice Planet Barbarians, and so many more! My list is long!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

I absolutely loved writing the rooftop scene. It was incredibly steamy, intense, and unbelievably fun to write out.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I have a tiara that I put on when I’m particularly pleased with a scene I’ve just written.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

It costs me nothing to be kind to others. I try to always show kindness and support those around me in their endeavors.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

Never give up on your dreams, because you never know when they may come true.
