What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Quantum Chaos?

Quantum Chaos is book 5 in a series, which began in 2017 on an idea that had been floating in my head for decades: extra dimensions of space.

Peter Cawdron’s The Art of War, Martha Wells’s Witch King, Alastair Reynolds’s Detonation Boulevard, Ginger Booth’s Skyship Thrive

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

Too many to list! But I have to say, it’s hard to beat the crew of a Chitza scout ship grooving to a drumbeat while their enthusiastic safety officer dances down the aisle handing out ChitzaPops. Gives me warm fuzzies.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

Sometimes I’ll wake up at 3 AM with a thought on my mind that MUST be written down right that minute!

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Science fiction begins with science.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

We might not know everything yet, but the true nature of reality is discoverable.
