What can you tell us about your new release, Cuffing Her?
It’s one of my favorites because it’s about a cop and a criminal. I love playing with tough relationships, where the two main characters aren’t sure they can trust each other.
What fictional literary world would you most like to visit?
I want to say Game of Thrones, but it’s kind of terrifying. So what about going back to meet Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice? Lizzy won’t stand a chance, haha.
What books are currently on your nightstand?
Oh gosh, I’m always so busy writing. Currently, I’m reading Defiant Queen by Meghan March. Loving it! It’s super sexy.
You’re hosting a literary dinner party. Which three writers are invited?
James Patterson – sold the most books worldwide.
R.R. Banks – he’s killing it – love his stories.
Jill Mansell – love her British traditional romance vibe.
What’s your favorite thing about writing?
That I can do it anytime I want and that no matter what the words are always there for me, even when no one else is.
What’s on your writing desk?
Bluetooth keyboard, a decorative box in which I keep candies for snack time – naughty, naughty – and pomegranate and rosehip oil hand cream (got to keep these hands lubed up, haha).
What scene in Cuffing Her was your favorite to write?
Don’t want to spoil it, but the second chapter was so fun because it was full of tension and there was this lovely push and pull between the two main characters. They’re really up in each other’s business. Oh! And the first sexy time between them. It was so hot, if I do say so myself.
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
Trust them until they’re gone.
