Interview with Erin Trejo, Author of Dance For Me

What can you tell us about your new release, Dance For Me?

It’s a Bully romance. There are a lot of bully aspects but also an enemies to lovers vibe.

What or who inspired you to become an author?

I had so many thoughts in my head that I just wanted to get them down on paper.

What’s on your top 5 list for the best books you’ve ever read?

I honestly don’t read much. I know, I know it’s weird LOL.

Say you’re the host of a literary talk show. Who would be your first guest? What would you want to ask?

Carian Cole! She has always been a huge ear for me when I need her. I would just ask her to keep doing what she does. She’s amazing.

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

I get to put my ideas and thoughts into stories. A lot of people don’t know but I write when I’m depressed which results in darker books.

What is a typical day like for you?

A typical day for me is getting my kids off to school and me in front of my computer. I write full time.

What scene in Dance For Me was your favorite to write?

By far the Pool house scene! It was HOT.

Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?

Just never give up. Even when you want to, don’t. There is always something better to come.
