Interview with Eva Winners, Author of Devotion

What can you tell us about your new release, Devotion?

Devotion is a second chance romance novel. It deals with some hard topics in life. Eve Bailey attempted suicide after losing her husband and son but things aren’t as they seem. Lachlan enters her life and with his patience brings her back to life.

What books are currently on your nightstand?

Good Night Moon and The Daughters of Ireland.

What advice would you give your teenage self?

Party more. Enjoy more. We are young only once. There is plenty of time to worry.

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?

Writing.

What makes your world go round? Why does it bring you joy?

Traveling, reading, writing, and beach.

What scene from Devotion was your favorite to write?

The scene when Eve goes to Lachlan at his apartment to find him exiting with Layla is one of my favorite ones. It shows how far Eve has come in her healing. She loves him and puts it all out there for him and doesn’t revert back when he doesn’t react the way you’d hope. It shows how strong she has become.
