Interview with Everly Frost, Author of This Dark Wolf

What can you tell us about your new release, This Dark Wolf?

A wolf shifter born with a human soul, Tessa Dean’s life is saved by the alpha she should fear the most, Tristan Masters. Now she belongs to him.

This Dark Wolf is dark urban fantasy romance, the first in the Soul Bitten Shifter series. It’s an enemies to lovers romance, intense, action-packed, written for a new adult (17+) audience.

What or who inspired you to become an author?

My mom and my grandmother were always writing, whether it was poetry or stories, so I grew up with creative writing as part of my daily routine. But it was one of my sisters who first challenged me to publish my books.

What’s on your top 5 list for the best books you’ve ever read?

The Hunger Games got me back into reading and writing after a slump that lasted quite a few years. After that, the books of nearly every Indie Author I’ve read! Indie Authors write from their hearts and it makes for truly exciting reading.

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

Creating a world where anything is possible.

What is a typical day like for you?

Juggling parenting, writing, and a day job means I have to use every minute of every day. I have a set routine in the early mornings and late evenings outside of work hours with blocks of time set aside for social media and writing, but parenting always comes first.

What scene from This Dark Wolf was your favorite to write?

Every scene between Tristan and Tessa was exciting to write, but I also loved writing the scene where Tessa meets two of the other women in the safehouse for the first time – Iyana and Danika – two strong, tough women with deep hearts.
