What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Dessert at the Beach House Hotel?
This is the 6th book in the Beach House Hotel series. Because readers want more and more, I have to come up with new ideas for these characters. These are light-hearted beach reads with humor sprinkled in.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
I like reading women’s fiction of all kinds – I write romantic women’s fiction.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
Too many to mention! I try to keep a wide selection of them.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
Probably the scene where Ann & Rhonda surprise the couple by fixing up the apartment
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
Not really… my two dachshunds “help” me by sleeping nearby.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Be true to myself and always be kind.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
That everyone deserves love and kindness!
