Interview with Julie Scarlet, Author of Forbidden Alphas and Curvy Girls

What can you tell us about your new release, Forbidden Alphas and Curvy Girls?

Forbidden Alphas and Curvy Girls is a boxset consisting of my 13 best selling books at a discounted price.

What or who inspired you to become an author?

I read a lot of books. One day I wanted to give a shot at writing, I hated the first draft I wrote. Then two of my reader friends read my draft and suggested that I continue writing. Later my readers started giving me so much motivation that helped me continue to write.

What’s on your top 5 list for the best books you’ve ever read?

I read books in different genres, so it’s super hard to list out the best 5. Here are my favorite 5 books that I enjoyed reading: Hideaway by Nora Roberts. City of lost souls by Cassandra Cale(I enjoyed the whole series). The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzzane Collins. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.

Say you’re the host of a literary talk show. Who would be your first guest? What would you want to ask?

Nora Roberts. She is one of the best romance authors of all time. I would like to ask her how she comes up with so many ideas so quickly.

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

My favorite thing about writing is my readers. I don’t know about other genres but my readers are so kind. There were countless times I wanted to give up but the support my readers showed kept me going. I’m grateful for each and every one of them.

What is a typical day like for you?

I have a full-time job that takes most of my time. Whenever I get time, I sip my coffee and sit down to write my next book.

What scene from Forbidden Alphas and Curvy Girls was your favorite to write?

Forbidden Alphas and Curvy Girls is a collection of different books, so picking a scene is very difficult. If I had to pick one scene, it’s the confrontation scene in Protecting Her Curves. I did not expect I could write scenes like that until I wrote one.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

My motto is simple. You live only once, make sure to keep your bucket list empty all the time!
