What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Less Than Perfect?
The story is loosely based on my experience when I was in my teens.

Everybody Hurts (by REM).
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
I like to read Literary fiction; the same favorite genre to write.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
The Lincoln Highway.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
The Homecoming Dance scene.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I have a polished stone engraved with ‘IMAGINE’ that I keep in front of me when writing.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
“While we wait for life, life passes.”
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
