What can you tell us about your new release, Trouble on Main Street?
Trouble on Main Street, book one of six Sugar Mountain cozy mysteries, features the women of The Sugar Mountain Ladies Historical Society. These seemingly mild mannered women are actually novice sleuths, collecting information undercover, and solving the problems within their community.
What books are currently on your nightstand?
The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband by Julia Quinn.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
I’d say take advantage of opportunities, not to be hesitant or unsure.
If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?
Reading. Other authors inspire me.
What makes your world go round? Why does it bring you joy?
Creativity. I never tire of seeing the wild and wonderful things that people dream up. I’m happiest when I take on an overwhelming, imaginative project.
What scene in Trouble on Main Street was your favorite to write?
I enjoy writing the scenes where the ladies of the society go undercover, in disguise, to collect information.
Kirsten Fullmer is the author of the new book Trouble on Main Street.
