Interview with Kitty Thomas, Author of Blood Lust

What can you tell us about your new release, Blood Lust?

Blood Lust is the first book in an accidental PNR series. It’s a series of three novellas that introduce a much larger world that plays out over the course of 6 books. The main theme is that everyone is the hero of their own story and the villain of somebody else’s and the series has shifters, demons, vampires, witches, and angels.

What scene in Blood Lust was your favorite to write?

All of the third novella: Mated.

What books are currently on your nightstand?

I’m currently listening to Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy.

What makes your world go round? Why does it bring you joy?

Chocolate. Because it’s chocolate.

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?

Doing exactly what I do now.

What advice would you give your teenage self?

I wouldn’t bother. I know I wouldn’t listen anyway. Besides, I don’t look back and I don’t do regrets. This train only moves in one direction.
