What can you tell us about your new release, Intended for Bristol?
I can say it’s one of my favorites! Jaxon Reed has been a notorious bad boy in my Second Chances novels. It was fun being able to let him find a happy ending, even though it was a rocky road to redemption.
Name a book that you feel has impacted your life significantly. Why was it so impactful?
This would have to be my novel, Meant for Me. It was the first of my novels to ever hit a bestseller’s list. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it’d ever happen to me. For that reason, it holds a special place in my heart. It’s opened the doors to a lot of possibilities.
Who is your favorite couple from literature?
I’d have to say Korinne and Galen from my novel, Love’s Second Chance. It’s the first contemporary romance I ever wrote and it’s the story of how my husband and I met and fell in love.
What’s your spirit animal?
Definitely a wolf.
BAM. You’re a superhero. What’s your superpower?
My superhero name would be SUPER SCRIPTER and I’d have the ability to write as many words a day as I wanted.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
Think before you act and be patient. To this day, I still have issues with patience, but I’ve gotten better. I’m sure I could’ve avoided a lot of catastrophes if I’d thought before acting impulsively.
What scene in Intended for Bristol was your favorite to write?
It’d have to be the part where Bristol finds out the truth about Jaxon. I can’t give away the secret, but it’s a really angsty part of the book. I love writing the scenes that make you feel.
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
