Interview with Lisa Eugene, author of Escape With Me

What can you tell us about your new release, Escape With Me?

It’s a sexy romantic suspense novel. My heroine, Jody, is in New York on a mission to find her missing sister. She takes a job working under an alias at her sister’s last known place of employment. Soon she becomes suspicious they are involved in her disappearance. There’s suspense and intrigue as she tries to unravel the mystery surrounding her missing sister. She meets Jason Grant, a sexy football hero. Jason agrees to help her find her sister, but as the two work together, romance sparks and things heat up. Jason plays to win. He’s a god on and off the field, but he has a damaged heart from previous relationships. He’s not ready for love. Is Jody willing to risk her heart to find her sister? Is Jason the real danger?

What’s on your writing desk?

Book two of the Escape Series. It’s a stand-alone novel. Tahlia Wilson is a journalist determined to bring down the billion dollar Goldwyn empire. Blake Goldwyn will use whatever methods necessary to see that she doesn’t. The two are like fire and ice. Sexy, fast-paced, sizzling suspense.

I can get lost in my head. Do or be anything or anyone. I love creating characters.

What’s a typical day like for you?

Getting my kids off to school. Going to work as a nurse. Coming home. Making dinner for my family. Reading/Writing/Sleeping.

What scene in Escape With Me was your favorite to write?

When Jody first discovers that her all-time favorite crush is standing right in front of her. She pretty much loses her mind. She’s so dumbfounded she can’t string two words together.
