Interview with Michelle Bryan, Author of The Lost Link

What can you tell us about your new release, The Lost Link?

The Lost Link is a new take on Fae folklore. It is filled with magic, humor, action, and sprinkled with a touch of romance.

What or who inspired you to become an author?

I’ve been a voracious reader for as long as I can remember. Nancy Drew was my idol. Then I discovered Stephen King and realized I wanted to create worlds and characters as intense as his. The rest, like they say, is history :).

What’s on your top 5 list for the best books you’ve ever read?

The Stand by Stephen King. If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon. All the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Watchers by Dean Koontz. A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.

Say you’re the host of a literary talk show. Who would be your first guest? What would you want to ask?

Stephen King , of course. I would ask him to give me his interpretation of the ending of his Dark Tower series.

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

Creating and molding worlds so that anything is possible.

What is a typical day like for you?

Coffee and writing. Throw in a little bit of chocolate and reading and that’s it lol.

What scene in The Lost Link was your favorite to write?

The escape scene from the tower at the end. I think it really shows the chemistry between Starke and Jette.

Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?

Drink the coffee. Eat the cake. Read the book. Enjoy the life.
