I’m going through the Bible Study “Elijah” right now, and reading the book of Esther in the Bible.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

Where he first tells her about the cedar box!

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I have to have quiet. No music or television. And I love television, so I wish this wasn’t the case!

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Never give up and keep writing, marketing, and speaking even on the hard days when I’m tired or discouraged! This is where my readers lift me up, inspire me, support, and encourage me. I love them.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

That no matter how impossible a situation looks, if you have faith in God, he’s got this.
