What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Magdelena’s Choice?
Magdelena chooses a good man who can provide for her, but her father objects. He wants to choose her husband who will inherit his ranch someday. She doesn’t agree that money conquers all.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Mysteries and Romance!
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
Where Magdelena has to make a life-altering decision that will have consequences either way she goes.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Trust in God in all things.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
That they would’ve rooted for Magdelena and maybe identify with in empathy for the hard decisions she has to make, and in her trust in God.
