By Molly Maple Writing Marshmallow Murder involved spending time writing at my desk, but this project was a joy because it meant I also spent time cooking up different batches of cupcakes in my kitchen. In the small town of Sweetwater Falls, Charlotte’s dream is to become a cupcake baker, selling her cupcakes to the citizens who make her life so happy. So of course, I had to do my part and thoroughly research cupcake recipes. I came up with my own, then put the recipe in the back of the book for my readers. Now you can feel closer to Charlotte, and closer to sugar (two very important things). When small town charm meets sugary fun, those are my favorite types of stories. I am grateful I get to spend time with these quirky characters while they set out to solve a murder. No one knows who killed the town’s favorite penny-pincher, but Charlotte and Marianne won’t stop until his killer is brought to justice. All books in this series are standalone and can be read independent of each other. There are no cliffhangers, so you can rest assured that you will get a cozy read to match your sweet tooth.
