Interview with Nikki Broadwell, Author of Echoes: Lucifer and the Dark Goddess

What can you tell us about your new release, Echoes: Lucifer and the Dark Goddess?

Echoes is a book about a love that seems doomed and fighting an evil that seems impossible to combat. It is also about a woman finding herself in a world of the future without knowing how she got there or why. Discovery of who she really is.

What books are currently on your nightstand?

I am currently reading the prequel to Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman called Magic Lessons. Just finished a series by C.J. Archer… ’After the Rift’ I am constantly looking for books that hold my interest…I write what I would like to read!

What advice would you give your teenage self?

I would tell my teenage self to keep on writing! and to look into working at a publishing house.

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it?

I do have an extra hour each day and mostly I use it to walk with my dog and daydream! Would like to use it to do something for our planet…but that’s what I try to do in my writing.

What makes your world go round? Why does it bring you joy?

Animals and birds and nature make MY world go round. Seeing them brings me joy, including rattlesnakes!

What scene from Echoes: Lucifer and the Dark Goddess was your favorite to write?

There is a man in my book who my heroine loves like a father…he has cancer and is dying. The scene I love is when she convinces him that Lucifer can heal him and the scene that follows…
