What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Amethysts & Alchemy?

My love of gems and minerals, science-y magic systems, and my desire to write a story featuring a neurodivergent main character are primarily what sparked it!

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Amethysts & Alchemy, what would they be?

“Mouthful of Precious Stones” by The Red Chord.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Romantasy, hands down. Magic AND romance? It does not get any better than that!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

There is a scene where Delaney and Heath get back to the hotel room they begrudgingly have to share, and Delaney darts into the bathroom first to shower. Heath, thinking there’s a shower curtain, bursts in after she refuses to let him use the bathroom, and they end up in a wet, tangled mess!

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

I want readers to fondly remember the characters they’ve journeyed with as old friends.
