What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Devil’s Farm?
I’ve been writing seriously on and off for the past decade. One day Joey showed up in my head and I knew it was time to write his story! I am also a huge fan of zombie horror movies and tv shows.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
It depends on my mood entirely. Sometimes I like contemporary romance and other times straight out horror!
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
There are so many books out there I would love to read. Unfortunately, I can’t read right now because I’m under so many deadlines.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
I loved writing the scene when Ava and Joey first meet.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
My favorite place to write is on the couch. If I’m having a hard time focusing I like to sit at a desk!
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Always go after your dreams and do things that make you happy.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
Nothing about this life is guaranteed. Everything can change in the blink of an eye!
