Interview with Roy Huff, Author of Time Travel Universe

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Time Travel Universe?

As book #4 in the time travel series, it’s linked to past plot points, but the setting is in Egypt. I’ve always loved the pyramids.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Time Travel Universe, what would they be?

Eye of the Tiger by Survivor.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

Science Fiction, and yes. Fantasy is a close second.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

I’m currently working on the Expeditionary Force series by Craig Alanson. This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub is next on my list.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The opening scene, but I don’t want to give away the details.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I’m early to bed and early to rise, 8pm and 4am respectively.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

I have a few but let’s go with “Don’t count the days. Make the days count.” Muhammad Ali

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

You write your own future.
