Interview with Sara B. Larson, Author of Endure

This is the final book in the DEFY trilogy, where we finally find out what will happen to Alexa, Damian, and Rylan.

What’s rocking your world this month?

Preparing for a book launch and Christmas simultaneously is pretty much my whole world right now! But I did sneak in reading an ARC of TRUTHWITCH and PASSENGER and they were both fantastic!

Who is your favorite couple from literature?

Besides my own characters? I honestly can’t pick one…I suck at picking favorites. But I adore Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth and Jane and Rochester. Two classics that will always stand the test of time.

Pretend you qualified for the Olympics this year. What sport would you compete in?

Either diving or equestrian jumpers — both of which I did growing up.

What’s on your writing desk?

I can’t say, but stay tuned for more soon!

Where is your happy place? Why does it bring you joy?

The beach or Disney World (or Disneyland). The beach because it’s so gorgeous and peaceful. I love sitting in the sun and reading for hours with the sounds of the waves. And Disney-anything because DISNEY. (And seeing how happy it makes my kids, too.)

What’s your favorite quote or scene from Endure?

I can’t really say without being spoilery, but let’s just say the second part of the dedication has very significant meaning and is a big hint.

Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -Eleanor Roosevelt. This has been on my blog since I first started trying to get published and it has meant so much to me throughout this journey.
