What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write For the Love of Hot Cocoa?

I wanted to write a holiday cozy fantasy and was inspired by Cinderella, the movie Simply Irresistible, and all Hallmark holiday RomComs.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

I love RomComs. But I like to write other genres as well.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

Right now I’m reading witchy romances!

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

The ice skating make up scene.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I write a lot with the TV on.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

The book is supposed to be fun and leave you smiling and feeling happy.
