What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Love Beyond Age (Eternally Yours) Book 1?
The book “Love Beyond Age” was inspired by the author’s 17-year-old daughter and her friends. Stephanie wanted to write a story specifically for them, taking into consideration their preferences and interests in reading material. The interactions with these young individuals and their insights on what they liked to read played a pivotal role in fueling Stephanie’s imagination and ultimately led to the creation of the book.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
I enjoy all genres. My favorites are Horror, and Psychological Thrillers.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
Currently, I am a student obtaining my BA in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies. At the moment I’m consumed by Psychological and Feminist textbooks.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
My favorite scene to write was in chapters 20 through 22. The chapters resonated within my heart and soul.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I have a Pomeranian who loves to sit on my lap while I write my stories. Coco gives me great comfort when I write.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
I believed in trying something once. I like to say “you can’t knock it till you try it.”
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
The journey of the heart is not always a smooth path, yet with time, clarity emerges.
