What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write It’s Only Love?
My readers inspired me to write this book. I’ve published three other novels with the same trope—older woman, younger man—and they’ve been very popular. I wanted to give my readers another story that falls into this category.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
As a romance author, I love to read other romance novels. However, I also enjoy historical fiction, general fiction, and suspense.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
So many! I have a small bookcase dedicated to my TBR books, and I keep adding more!
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
I really enjoyed writing the scenes in the bookstore owned by the heroine, Charlotte. Aside from being an author, owning a bookstore would be my dream job.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I’m not sure this is quirky, but I do my best writing alone and in silence. You would never find me writing in a public place.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
My favorite motto is slow and steady wins the race. I apply this to all aspects of life, including writing. I would rather turn out a quality product than rush to finish it.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
After reading this, and all my books, I hope readers are smiling. My books are lighthearted, and that’s how I want people to feel reading them.
