What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Daydreamer?
I wanted to write a female heroine I could identify with. She’s scatty, she daydreams, she’s disorganized… not everyone has to have their s**t together all the time!
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Contemporary romance and yes it’s the same as my genre.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
The scene where the hero, Felix realises what he’s done when he messes everything up. I loved writing his regret and the angst that followed.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I try to always have my small fluffy dog on my feet and a coffee nearby.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
Get busy living or get busy dying.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
That all people work differently and that daydreaming is often valuable.
