What can you tell us about your new release, Sweet Kisses?

Sweet Kisses is a limited edition boxed set with twenty-one brand new sweet contemporary romances by twenty-one amazing authors. We’re donating 100% of pre-order proceeds to Pets for Vets, a wonderful organization that pairs veterans with the pets they need and deserve.

What or who inspired you to become an author?

My daughter encouraged me to try my hand at writing books. But the person who first inspired me to write was my third grade teacher, Ann Vassallo, who helped me publish my first poem.

What’s on your top 5 list for the best books you’ve ever read?

Pride and Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, Anne of Green Gables, Redeeming Love, Princess Bride.

Say you’re the host of a literary talk show. Who would be your first guest? What would you want to ask

Brené Brown. I would ask her if she prefers communicating orally or through the written word, and why.

What’s your favorite thing about writing?

My favorite part of being an author is when readers write to tell me how much one of my books meant to them.

What is a typical day like for you?

I’m a practicing dentist, so a typical writing day starts at six thirty a.m. with a little writing before work. When I get home, I try to squeeze in as much writing as possible before my other obligations. If I’m really lucky, I’ll sometimes have an entire day to devote to writing and all the accompanying work of being a self-published author. But family time always takes precedence.

What scene in your title, The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss included in Sweet Kisses was your favorite to write?

My favorite scene is when Logan first kisses Ellery–supposedly to make his ex-fianceé jealous.

Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?

Since I happen to be married to the world’s most romantic man, this is my favorite quote, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings. “I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all the ages of this world alone.”
