What can you tell us about your new release, May Be Fatal?
I took big risks with my latest thriller, including writing the way I hear it. In MAY BE FATAL, I ask readers to go back and forth in history with the characters. The opening chapter occurs in 2009, with the next chapter ‘Present Day.’ It’s a psychic puzzle, a time riddle. As for substance, this excerpt is a hint:
“When we listen to our inner voice, what you call your gut, it teaches us to live beyond our brain. To allow our mind to consider options. To interpret signals. The force from the universe. We sense when something is wrong before we have the facts. Our brain trains us through what we are taught and remember from elders. Our mind deduces the risk-reward quotient. It is our entry into the collective consciousness if we dare to suspend our fears and disbelief.” – MAY BE FATAL – Taylor Marsh

What advice do you have for your teenage self?
Revel in early artistic successes. Don’t go against your gut. Prepare for winter.
What would you do with an extra hour in the day?
Produce a daily podcast for artists about the business of being creative, including TV, Netflix, & films. Since there isn’t an “extra hour,” I’m plotting to steal an hour to get this done. My iTunes channel reimagined. Stay tuned…
What makes your world go round? Why does it give you joy?
Concocting a world that relates to readers. To translate a woman’s experience into thrillers with psychological heft. It thrills me because I’ve found a way to decipher my life.
What scene in May Be Fatal was your favorite to write?
Serial killer Raymond Drake’s drive through Blackwater Forest: Dead of night. Nature’s wrath. He’s terrified of his own demise. Faces what he can’t control. His own terror.
